Proud To Be A Malaysian
Malaysia, our fatherland, is absolutely a symbol of peace, glory and solidarity. Our nation is celebrating the independence month currently. From all these years, from the 20th century to the 21th century, all of us has witnessed the fast-growing economy, development, and the flying color achievements of our home country, Malaysia.
All of us, students, workers, teachers and Malaysians from any background should be feeling proud to stay and be a citizen of this fabulous land. Malaysia holds a multi-racial society, of which majorly occupied by the Chinese, Indians and Malays. From the experiences that we have gained from the sanguinary friday in the early years of our nation's history, we learnt that unity and co-operation between different races is of the utmost significant to construct a developed nation. As a result, peace and harmony were disembarked to our country.
It is surely agreeable that Malaysia is a peace and harmonious country, with no war, famine, diseases and political conflicts, unlike some poor countries like Sierra Leone and Myanmmar, political coup, stavations and poverty are assaulting the people there every second. We used to experience in the early years like fighting with the Malaysian Communists. But, our great soilders had efficiently eradicated all the aspects that were stopping our national development.
Recently, our country has some outstanding achivements which other developed nations unable to reach, Firstly, the Petronas Twin Towers, counstructed during Dr. Mahathir's administration, is once the tallest building of the world and the current third tallest. The national cars and sports once again become the evidences of our achievements..
As such, with all these aspects, we should be proud to be a Malaysian and appreciate it by showing our affection and love to our native land. There are some way that I wuld like to suggest just for reference for everybody. Firstly, we should respect our culture and religion even for other races. Respecting one's culture and religion for sure will help to maintain the harmonious condition and the solidarity of our nation.
We should also protect the evironment by carrying out recycle, regenerate and reproduce activities, avoid open burnings and more. With all these, our country will be an unpolluted one. We can also make Malaysian products our first choice as being a consumer. Buying domestic products could indirectly help to boost our nation's economy. The last thing is that, as a secondary student, we can also study hard. 'Children are the future leaders'. As we study hard, a better future is waiting for us!!
In a nutshell, our nation is lovely and precious, because of this, we must show off our patriotism and sincerity and proud to be a Malaysian!!
